BID Business Marketing Support

The BID will take out print and online ads to promote participating businesses. The BID will also provide free promo materials and even small cash grants to help cover costs. The Brooklyn Heights Blog is also offering a special ad rate for Summer Space participants. Check back for details or contact the BID office at 718-522-3649 with any questions.

How BID Restaurants Can Participate

Here's how BID restaurants and other food-service establishments can take part:

Join the September 18th free-sample promo.  Give out free samples. Summer Space is the same day as the Brooklyn Book Festival, so expect lots of visitors! We'll promote your participation in the Book Festival program.

Offer or expand outdoor café seating on either date.

Offer any other promotion on the 18th – we'll help get the word out through our media partners, the Brooklyn Eagle and Brooklyn Heights Blog, and others.

How BID Retailers Can Participate

BID retail establishments can:

Hold an outdoor promotion. Use the sidewalk or street to give away items, host fun events, or otherwise promote your business.

Have a sidewalk sale. Display merchandise outside, then have shoppers go inside to buy.

Offer an in-store event – the BID will help get the word out.
